Do you know what happens when you miss the cut? Unlike baseball, football, basketball or soccer, you don’t get paid. Talk about pressure.
If you fail, no ones around to pick you up, but when you win, the feeling must be insurmountable. The mental fortitude it takes to win a major is unlike anything else in sports.
For those of you who still want to say golfers aren’t athletes? I advise you to take a backseat.
